【au/UQ mobile】How can I change my phone plan/calling plan?

It can be done from My au or My UQ mobile apps. The new plan will be applied from the 1st day of the following month.

  • For changes in the last two days of the month (particularly after 20:00 on the last day of the month), it may be applied from the month after next.
  • The latest information will not be reflected on My au/My UQ mobile app on the first of each month. Please check the plan for the current month from 9:00 on the 2nd day of the month following the procedure.
  • Example: If you change the plan during March

    The plan will take effect from April usage, and the bill for the new plan will be charged in May.

Open My au app→ Tap on the speech balloon icon in the upper right→ Enter "Plan Review" in the "message field" [メッセージを入力]→ Tap on "Send" [送信].

Open My au App→ Tap on the person-like mark (My page icon) at the bottom of the screen→ Tap on "Check/change current plan" [ご契約中プランの確認・変更]→ Tap on "Change Plan" [料金プランを変更]→ Proceed to Step 3.

<How to change my plan from My au (web)>

    Log in to My au (web) with your au ID.

     Tap on "Change" [変更] on the lower right of the "Plan"「料金プラン」 item.

    Select the desired phone plan and calling plan. 

    Scroll the screen to confirm the plan after the change.

    Scroll the screen and select the "New plan start" 「適用タイミング」. Make sure the "Apply from next month"「翌月から適用する」box is checked.  

    After checking the notes, tap on "Agree and proceed" [同意して次に進む] at the bottom of the page.

    Read the "Notes"「ご注意」regarding plan change. 

    Check the box "I have read the above notes" [上記注意事項を確認しました] and tap on "Next" [次へ] at the bottom of the screen.

    • If it is not displayed, proceed to the next step.

    Confirm if the plan after the change is the one you specified and select "How to check contract details"「契約内容のご確認方法」.

    Scroll the screen and tap on "Apply for plan change" [プラン変更を申し込む]

    The procedure is now completed.

Open My UQ mobile App→ Tap on the person-like mark (My page icon)→ Tap on "Check/change plan" [ご契約中プランの確認・変更]→ Tap on "Change Plan" [料金プランを変更]→ Proceed to Step 3.

    Log in to My UQ mobile (web) with your au ID.

    Tap on "Change" [変更] on the lower right of the "Plan"「料金プラン」item.

    Select the desired phone plan, calling plan and data increase option II (yes/no).

    Scroll the screen to confirm the plan after the change.

    Scroll the screen and select the "New plan start" 「適用タイミング」. Make sure the "Apply from next month"「翌月から適用する」box is checked.

    After checking the notes, tap on "Agree and proceed" [同意して次に進む] at the bottom of the page.

    Read the "Notes" [ご注意] regarding the plan change. 

    Check the box "I have read the above notes" [上記注意事項を確認しました] and tap on "Next" [次へ] at the bottom of the screen.
