【au Email Portability】How do I set up a spam filter for it?

If you are using the au Email Portability service, access the spam filter settings from My Page and set it up.

  • If you apply for the au Email Portability service, all settings for the spam filter will be reset. Please set it up again after completing the application.

Procedure for setting up the spam filter (for those using the au Email Portability service)

    Access the au Email Portability page from the smartphone you are using the service with.

    【Reference】If you are using an au ID that is not linked to an au/UQ line (in the case of an Open au ID)

      Open the au Email app.

      Tap on the menu key in the upper left corner of the screen, then tap on "au Email Portability" [auメール持ち運び].

      • You may need to log in with your au ID

    Scroll the screen from bottom to top.

    Tap on "Apply/My Page Here (au ID Login)" [お申し込み・マイページはこちら(au IDログイン)].

    Enter the au ID for the email address you are applying for and tap on "Next" [次へ].

    【Important note】

    If you are not connected to LTE when logging in with your au ID (i.e., connected via Wi-Fi), you may be required to log in with two-step verification.

    Two-step verification
    When logging in from a Wi-Fi connection or from another device such as a PC, a URL will be sent via text message (SMS) to the au mobile phone registered with the au ID.
    By clicking the URL on the text message (SMS), the authentication screen opens, and you can log in by pressing the "Allow"[許可] button and granting authentication permission.

    • Once you grant authentication permission, two-step verification will be skipped for a certain period of time on that login device.

    (There is no need for the above two-step verification when logging in using the LTE line with the au mobile phone registered with the au ID)

    Enter your password and tap "Log In" [ログイン].

    Tap on "Spam Mail Filter Settings" [迷惑メールフィルターの設定].

    The "Spam Mail Filter Settings"[迷惑メールフィルター設定] will be displayed.

    From this page, you can set up various spam mail filters.

    【Reference】 Items that can be set

    In the spam mail filter, you can set the following.

    The setting procedure is the same as when signing an au contract.
