【World Data Flat】Can I continue using data transmission even if I travel to another country while using the World Data Flat?
Whether you can continue to use data transmission when you travel to another country depends on the course you are using. Please see below for details.
If you are using the Early Discount Course at 690 yen/24 hours or the Regular Course at 980 yen/24 hours
You can continue to use the World Data Flat without any additional charges even if you travel to any of the eligible countries/regions.
If you are using the Early Discount Campaign Course at 490 yen/ 24 hours
You can continue using it without additional charges only when travelling between countries/regions eligible for the Early Discount Campaign.
If you travel to a country/region not eligible for the Early Discount Campaign during the usage period of the Early Discount Campaign Course, the count of the remaining time of the Early Discount Campaign Course will continue, but data transmission will stop.
To restart data transmission, you need to start World Data Flat from the web browser or the World Data Flat app.
However, Regular Course fees will be charged in addition to the Early Discount Campaign Course you have already booked.
Please note
- Data transmission cannot be used in countries/regions not covered by the World Data Flat or on ships.
- Customers who are subscribed to UQ mobile 4G LTE compatible plan cannot use data transmission overseas.
