Usage Fees
The "Double World Data Flat" has different usage fees depending on the amount of data used (Note 1), while the "World Data Flat" has fixed usage fees starting from 490 yen/24 hours (Note 2), which makes the billing amount easy to understand.

Data quantity: up to approximately 24.4MB (40,000-yen worth), with a maximum daily charge of 1,980 yen. After that, no matter how much is used, it is up to 2,980 yen/day.*

How to Use
With the "World Data Flat", you can make use of it either by booking in advance from the exclusive app in Japan, or by pressing the "Start Using Button" while overseas.
The "Double World Data Flat" will start automatically when you are overseas, if your mobile data roaming is turned ON.
How to Count Usage Time
The "Double World Data Flat" counts one day starting from 0:00 Japan time, but the "World Data Flat" counts from the time you start using it, regardless of where you are in the world. In addition, when you book in advance from the app in Japan, you can choose the number of days you want to use it from 1-30 days. If you use it without booking in advance, you can choose the number of days from 1-8 days.
