【Data Charge】How to purchase

You can apply directly from the Data Charge website. The payment methods available are "au Easy Payment" and "Credit Card". Please see the detailed procedure below.

In order to use Data Charge, you need to subscribe to the "Data Charge Option".

Procedure

Access the Data Charge website from the link below and tap on "Login with au ID"［au IDでログイン］.

Enter your au ID and tap on "Next"［次へ］.

Enter your password and tap on "Login"［ログイン］.

Select and confirm "Charge Plan/Charge Timing/Charge Frequency"「チャージプラン／チャージタイミング／チャージ回数」, then tap on "Proceed to Payment"［決済手続きへ］.

About the Charge Plan

You can select the quantity you charge at once.

Charge fees

0.5GB: 605 yen (tax included)

1.0GB: 1,100 yen (tax included)

3.0GB: 3,300 yen (tax included)

5.0GB: 5,500 yen (tax included)

The expiration date is 62 days from the charge date.

About the charge timing

You can select whether to schedule a charge timing.

Now

Without scheduling a charge timing, you will be charged immediately after payment.

Quantity or Expiration Date (scheduled charge timing)

You will be automatically charged at the following times when the scheduling procedure is finished.

When charging for the first time.

When the remaining quantity of purchased data is less than 1%.

When the data validity date has expired.

About the Charge Frequency

If you set the charging timing to "Quantity or Expiration Date", you can select the number of times you want to do it automatically.

If you select the charge timing to "Now", you can only select "One Time".

(Example) Purchase of 1GB with "2 times" selection

1GB x 2 times = 2GB, and it will be calculated as a purchase of 2,200 yen (tax included).

The second time will be automatically charged when the remaining data is low.

If you have combined your au ID, make sure you are charging to the correct line.

If you want to change your payment method or whether to use points, tap on ①② in the image.

You can pay with "Credit Card" or “Combined with your mobile monthly bill”.

If you select “Combined with your mobile monthly bill”, you can use the total or part of your Ponta Points.

Enter the 4-digit PIN code you set when you subscribed for the contract and tap on "Pay"［支払う］.

The data charge procedure is now completed.
