Get security with four full-featured support services! Full Support Course

Agree to use your phone for two continuous years [1], and au will not only subsidize a portion of your initial purchase price [1], but we'll also provide a full range of support services!

[1]  Full Support Course requires two years continuous usage of an au phone.

Recommended for customers who:
want to purchase a phone at a reasonable price
want to enjoy the latest phone models and services
want full support after purchase
1. Purchase Support
We will subsidize a portion [1] of your initial phone purchase!

[1]  Full Support Course requires two years continuous usage of an au phone.

* The purchase subsidy is ¥21,000 (including tax) per phone regardless of model.
* A Full Support Cancellation Fee will be charged to customers who purchase new phones (through model change, additional accounts, etc.) or cancel or suspend the service midway through their subscription. The amount of the fee will be determined by the amount of months the customer has been enrolled in Full Support Course. au Points may be applied toward the Full Support Cancellation Fee.

Beginning in February 2009, the Full Support Cancellation Fee will be revised according to the chart below. After February 1, the new fees will also apply to customers who enrolled in Full Support Course in January 2009 or earlier.

2. Charge Support
Customers who enroll in Full Support Course will not have to pay cancellation fees for "Everybody Discount".


* "Everybody Discount" is not available for customers enrolling in PacketWIN Single Service.
3. Replacement Support
Receive at least double your current rate of au Monthly Points! Get 4 to 7 points per ¥100 spent based on your monthly bill.

[2]  Customers who spend less than ¥5,000 on their monthly bills will still receive double the rate of points, and can save on a model change in two years.
[3]  Customers who spend at least ¥5,000 on their monthly bills will collect Monthly Points at rates of 5 to 7%! For example, customers who spend ¥6,700 per month will earn enough points to cover their Full Support Cancellation Fees in as little as a year and a half (their 19th month), allowing them to change models with no fee.
[4]  Customers who spend ¥14,400 per month will earn enough points to cover their Full Support Cancellation Fees in as little as one year (their 13th month), allowing them to change models with no fee.

* The month of purchase is counted as the first month.
* Points will no longer expire. Instead, beginning June 2008 a maximum limit of 40,000 points will be set for accumulation by each account. Monthly points are calculated based on each month's usage, including basic monthly charges, calling charges, TV phone calling charges, packet communications charges, Global Passport calling and data charges, au International Call Service calling charges, optional service usage charges, and optional flat rate discount plan charges. Various service fees, EZweb data charges, the Universal Service charge, dialing service usage charges of other carriers, and consumption tax are not included in the total when points are calculated.

[5]  This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by intentional misuse, accident, or alteration of the device (disassembly and reassembly, replacement of parts, coating or painting, etc.).
[6]  This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by intentional misuse, or alteration of the device (disassembly and reassembly, replacement of parts, coating or painting, etc.). Reimbursement is not provided in cases of water damage or total loss. Full refunds are not provided for replacement of phone casing due to dirt, scratches, chips in paint, or other cosmetic damage.
[7]  The term "refurbishing" refers to replacement of the internal components, outer casing, and/or battery pack to restore an au phone to like-new condition. The determination of "water damage or total loss" for which this service is intended will be made by our designated repair service center.
[8]  If an au phone under contract for "Full Support Course" is lost, the Full Support Contract Cancellation Fee will be waived in its entirety. If a new au phone is purchased with "Simple Course", a maximum of ¥10,000 will be discounted from the purchase price. (If a customer who is not a member of Keitai Guarantee Service loses an au phone under contract for "Full Support Course", a maximum of ¥10,000 will be discounted from the amount the customer is required to pay for the Full Support Contract Cancellation Fee. If the lost phone was purchased under "Simple Course", a maximum of ¥5,000 will be discounted from the purchase price.) The period for this reimbursement service is 2 years from the date of purchase for phones purchased with "Full Support Course" and 1 year from the date of purchase for phones purchased with "Simple Course" or a plan other than the "au Purchase Program". When making an application, customers must present documents that prove they have reported the reason for loss or theft of their phones to the police, fire department or other relevant public authorities. The replacement phone we provide will be the identical model and color of the au phone that was originally purchased. In some cases, we may not be able to provide the identical model and color due to inventory. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by intentional misuse or alteration caused by disassembly by the customer.

* "Security Service for Loss or Theft" cannot be received if a customer brings in a previously purchased au phone and purchases a new phone, changes models, or purchases an additional phone.

[9]  Free replacement is available to customers who use the same au phone continuously for at least one year without model change, additional phone purchase, or any use of the Security Service for Loss or Theft.

* A separate application is required.

[10]  "No Claims" is defined as not having used "Repair Cost Discount", "Refurbishing Service for Water Damage or Total Loss", or "Security Service for Loss or Theft".

* Customers may only apply for this service at the time of purchase of an au phone (new contract, model change, additional phone purchase, or usage of "Security Service for Loss or Theft"). Customers who choose to withdraw from this service may not enroll again until the purchase of their next au phone. "Keitai Guarantee Service" is only provided for the most recently purchased au phone.
