Overview
When using CDMA 1X WIN data cards, subscribe to a PacketWIN compatible provider and you can receive mobile communications up to a maximum of 2.4Mbps (maximum of 3.1Mbps for W05K [1]).
- [1] Except for the areas which can receive 3.1Mbps, other communication available areas can receive 2.4Mbps maximum, or 144Kbps maximum. PacketWIN is a best effort type service. The maximum communication speed is the maximum value based on the technical standards between the connected base station and terminal of the mobile phone and the actual communication speed is not guaranteed. The Internet speed may slow down depending on the usage environment of the customer and the congestion conditions.
In order to prevent an excessive load on the network, the maximum communication speed is limited in models compatible to WIN Single-Teigaku depending on the level of network congestion. For example, when transmitting large data, such as the downloading/uploading of files and the attachment of video files, and continuous transmission of data, such as streaming and video playbacks. For this reason, please understand that it will take time to complete the communication.
- * In the au packet data communications services, capital letters cannot be used for the domain portion (after @) of the login ID for the dialup connection. Please be sure to use lower case letters to connect.
- * Measures for unsolicited email and various types of security are implemented by compatible providers for PacketWIN/PacketOne. Please confirm the details with each provider.
