When placing emergency calls (110, 118, 119) from an au phone, your positioning (current location) information is provided to the emergency service facilities. Please be sure to confirm your current location.
Depending on which area you call, you may not be connected with the appropriate department responsible for your location. |

In order to use international telephone services, it is necessary to first enter into a service contract with KDDI, Softbank Telecom, NTT Communications, UCOM, Brastel, IPS, Yasuko no Denwa, or Verizon Japan. However, if using any of various applicable credit cards or prepaid cards, you can use the services of the above companies to make international calls without a service contract (with the exception of UCOM and Brastel which do not accept credit card calls.) |
