Safety
SECOM Rescue
When the emergency alarm [1] is activated, an alert will automatically be sent to SECOM [2]. Upon request of the family, SECOM will immediately dispatch a member of its professional security staff to the child’s location [3].
Earthquake Early Warning [4]
Once an alert will be received, a child will be notified by a voice message "An earthquake occurred" and an alarm so that s/he can easily understand. This model also supports the Disaster Message Board and the Disaster Message Dial.
Location Notification
You can search for your child's current location. Alternatively, the child can notify the family of where s/he is [2]. Automatic location notification at the specified time is also available [2].
Reassurance
Communications are limited to registered persons [2]
Calles and C-mall/E-mail communication is only available with registered persons (up to 10 contacts). Three frequently used contacts can be registered to "One Touch Keys" so that the child can easily contact them.
No Internet Access
No worries about whether your child will get in trouble online.

Battery Charge Notification
If the battery needs to be charged, E-mail will automatically be sent to a person registered to "One Touch 1" [2]. You can stop a dead battery before it happens.

Convenient for notifying the child when to get up or when to go back home.
Power off during school time
Pseudo power off mode is available when the child is at school. Even in the pseudo power off mode, the security buzzer and location search function remain active for emergencies.
Customization of standby screen
Images attached to E-mail from a sender who has been registered to "One Touch Keys" can be set as standby screen.
Kanji support
For creating E-mail to send, Kanji is now available in addition to fixed phrases, Kana, alphabet and numbers, Emoji. As the menu can be switched to Kanji menu, this model can be suitable for long usage.

Silent manner mode, Simple Answer Memo
- [1] The volume of the alarm is approx. 100 dB at a distance of about 10 cm from the phone’s body. Depending on the surrounding conditions, the alarm may be difficult to hear.
- [2] Subscription to EZWIN Course is required for the use of E-mail, Security Navi, and COCO-SECOM. Application for SECOM is required for the use of COCO-SECOM. Packet communication charges are separately incurred.
- [3] Although the monthly charge of the COCO-SECOM service (¥400 in the case of au Junior Phone) is normally added, no payment is required for this service thanks to an agreement between SECOM and KDDI. However, when security staff is dispatched, ¥10,500 will be charged per dispatch.
- [4] Setting method differs from that described on au’s website for PC. More details can be found in the user manual.

[An apology to our customers]
The automatic "Check location anytime" function is currently not available when parents (those who check the location) use an au smartphone and the child (those whose location is checked) uses the mamorino or mamorino2. Information about when this function will become available will be provided in a separate announcement.
Note, however, that the mamorino2 is equipped with a function that operates in much the same way as the automatic "Check location anytime" function. For information on how to use this function, see the directions below.

Using the location notification schedule
From the mamorino2 menu, select [Settings] → [Parent Menu] → [Function Settings] → [Emergency Support] → [Location Notification]. Here, you can register as many as five different times to check your child's location. At each of the specified times, the mamorino2 automatically starts, determines the location, and sends you a mail notifying you of the location.
