Restriction and Call-Only Modes protect children from harmful websites and phone overuse

• When you purchase a Safe Junior Phone K001, first set the phone to Restriction Mode or Call-Only Mode. This will prevent overuse and protect your children from harmful information on the Internet. It will also help ensure that children do not experience trouble when out of their parents' view.

Restriction Mode

This mode lets you limit calls and E-mails to parents or other family members and set the phone to limit use of EZweb and other functions you don't want your child to use.

Call-Only Mode

This mode prevents use of E-mail and internet and limits functions to calling, route tracing and Security Navi.

• Function Restrictions (in Japanese only)

Limits on times of use and automatic manner mode settings to fit your lifestyle

• Time-of-day Usage Limits and Auto Manner Mode let you set the hours or days during which the phone can be used and the functions that the child can use. This allows you to tailor the phone to your child's lifestyle, such as setting the phone to automatically restrict EZweb use and switch to manner mode while your child is at school.

Keitai-Tracing Function helps you keep track your child's steps

• If the child activates the Security Buzzer or the phone is turned off, or when a C-mail with certain words is sent from the phone of a Pair Function recipient (parent or guardian), the Emergency Notification Function will automatically be activated. The child's movements can then be tracked with a phone or computer.

Note: Emergency Notification, individuals registered in Pair Function, and other features must be set in advance.

• * Subscription to EZweb (¥315/month, including tax) is required.
• * When the power must be turned off at locations such as within an airplane or a hospital, select "Power Off" or "Off" from the Main Menu to turn the handset completely off.
• * When the Emergency Notification Function is on, Keitai-Tracing Function is prioritized and the phone cannot be used for any functions except receiving phone calls from individuals registered in Pair Function.

• Precautions when using the Emergency Notification function (in Japanese only)

Location Notification helps you find your child

• Just press and hold the Location Notification key to determine current location and send the data to Pair Function recipients (parents or guardians). This feature is useful when your child wants to notify you of his or her location during non-emergency times.

• * This function cannot be used when the phone is set to Call-Only Mode.
• * Subscription to EZweb (¥315/month, including tax) is required.

Security Light

Just push the side key to make the camera light flash on and off.

Fake Incoming Call

This function activates the ringer to simulate receiving a call. This provides security for children returning home from school at night.

Note: Side key must be set in advance. Settings must be performed for Security Light, Fake Incoming Call, and Easy Light.

Battery cover lock prevents removal of battery

• The battery cover can only be removed by using the special tool included with the phone.
  Making the battery cover difficult to open helps alleviate concern that the phone may be rendered unusable.

Changeable Sheets let you change the phone's look

• Just open the front panel and insert a sheet to give your phone a customized look! Put in drawings, photos, or any sheet trimmed to size [1] to give the phone your own unique design.
