If you are enrolled in Family Discount and Everybody Discount and designate family members in the Call Designation Discount:
- If you change designated numbers
Charges for calls to new designated numbers will be discounted from the month subsequent to the sign-up month and onward. You can designate up to three au mobile phone, specific MVNO carrier mobile phone, general phone, or IP phone numbers. The discount will not apply if you designate any special numbers, international phone numbers, toll-free numbers, numbers for mobile phones or PHS from carriers other than au or a specific MVNO carrier. The discount does not apply to group Video Phone calling charges.

Calling charges
When you call an au phone, specific MVNO carrier mobile phone, or general phone that you designated:
- You must apply for this discount in order to enroll.
- You cannot designate special numbers like 110, 104, 117, 107, 0990, 0180, or 0570, phone numbers that start with * or #, international phone number, free call numbers like toll-free calls, numbers for mobile phones other than au phones, or PHS numbers.
- The discount usually starts the month after sign-up, but it may start two months after depending on the timing that au receives your application. If you sign-up for this discount together with a new subscription, you can select same month start up or next month start up.
- If you change a designated number, charges for calls to the new designated number will be discounted from the month after you request the change.
- KDDI does not provide daily prorated calculations for the flat rate for the Call Designated Discount.
- Even if a designated number is cancelled or changes, your discount service will still continue and you will still be charged the flat rate if you do not notify KDDI of the change or discontinuation.
- This discount cannot be used in combination with Student Discount or Call Wide.
- If you designate an au --> My Home Discount phone number, the Call Designation Discount will be applied, and the au --> My Home Discount will not be applied.

- The discount does not apply to group Video Phone calling charges.
- * The actual charges are calculated using the tax amount calculated from the total amount of the individual tax-excluded charges, and therefore may differ from the total of the individual tax-included charges.
