Service introduction
With au you carry over unused free calls up to the maximum amount indefinitely.
- The charge amount that can be carried over is limited to the Rollover Limit of your rate plan (See the chart below for details). If you change rate plans, your new carry over amount will be limited to the Rollover Limit stipulated for your new rate plan.
- This service does not apply to customers contracted for a plan with no free call (Plan E Simple, Plan E, etc.), Student Discount, or Single Service.
- If you are not enrolled in Family Discount or Business Discount, INDEFINITE-PERIOD CARRY OVER applies automatically. If you are enrolled in Family Discount or Business Discount, you may choose by line from either the CARRY OVER Course to carry-over unused free call without a usage time limit or a Sharing Course to share unused free call within the same group. Even if there is only one line within a group that has selected the Sharing Course due to plan changes in other lines of that group caused by subscribing to Family Discount or Business Discount, members of that group will not automatically be switched to the CARRY OVER Course. Customers who wish to switch plans need to submit an application (If you select the Sharing Course, this service will not apply).
- When you first sign-up for Family Discount or Business Discount, the CARRY OVER Course will be automatically selected for you if you are enrolled in a rate plan with free call, and the Sharing Course will be automatically selected for you if you are enrolled in a plan without free call. If you change your course, the new course will apply starting from the subsequent month. If you change to the Sharing Course, then starting on the month on which the Sharing Course applies, you cannot carry over previously accrued free call time that was eligible for carry over under your old course. However, if you sign-up for Family Discount or Business Discount along with a new subscription, it applies from that day.
- If your contract is cancelled or temporarily suspended, KDDI will void the carried over amount.
