How to apply

- The contract is usable for two to ten lines.
- Email communications charges, EZ apps sending charges, overseas Global Passport calling charges and data transmission charges, and CDMA prepaid card calling charges are not covered under the discount on charges for calls among family members.
- The remaining free calls from other family members cannot be applied to over-limit packet communications charges and international calling charges (including calling charges for the au International Calling Service) or overseas Global Passport calling charges and data transmission charges. Also, remaining free calls of packet communications flat rates or discount service cannot be applied to packet communications charges for family members.
- If you request detailed billing information on one combined bill, KDDI will send a lump-bill to one billing address.
- If you cancel your Family Discount, the discount will last until the end of the previous month.
- Even if there is only one line within a family that has selected the Sharing Course due to plan changes by other family members caused by subscribing to Family Discount, members of that family will not automatically be switched to the CARRY OVER Course. Customers who wish to switch plans need to submit an application.
- The basic rate discount does not apply to subscriptions to Simple Plan S or L.
- It is possible to form a Family Discount group incorporating specific MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) carrier mobile phones registered under the subscriber's name or a family member's name. Inquire with the specific MVNO carrier for details on discounts applicable when incorporating specific MVNO carrier mobile phones into a Family Discount group.
- * The actual charges are calculated using the tax amount calculated from the total amount of the individual tax-excluded charges, and therefore may differ from the total of the individual tax-included charges.
