The "KDDI Mobile" service offered by KDDI America, Inc. is recommended for customers staying in America for an extended period of time. You can apply before departing at au shops nationwide.

001 for International Calls (au International Calling Service)
"Calling overseas" is a service that enables any of our customers to easily make international calls from their current au phone without the need for extra procedures.You can use the free call time included in your au rate plan when using 001 for International Calls.

International SMS
A text message can be sent from an au mobile phone to a phone number of a local mobile phone overseas.
You can use the free call time included in your au rate plan for international SMS.

- Some applications may send/receive data even when a user does not operate the device. Accordingly, a subscription to IS Flat is recommended.
- Flat-rate packet communication services for domestic communications are not applicable to packet communications made overseas.
- It is recommended to turn the data roaming function OFF if you do not use packet communications.
