Available amounts for use, etc. The calling credits (tax included) per card type are as follows:
  • Cards that are not for sale: ¥100
  • Cards that are not for sale: ¥500
  • ¥1,000 cards: ¥1,000

  • ¥5,000 cards: ¥5,500
  • ¥10,000 cards: ¥10,000

Up to ¥60,000 (with tax) worth of calling credits can be added by registering additional cards.

Expiration

  • For prepaid phones
    • 60 days (calculated from the following day of registration/charge) in the case of cards that are not for sale. (with an available amount for use of ¥100 (tax included))
    • 15 days (calculated from the following day of registration/charge) in the case of cards that are not for sale. (with an available amount for use of ¥500 (tax included))
    • 30 days (calculated from the following day of registration/charge) per card in the case of a set of ¥1,000 x 3 cards.
    • 60 days (calculated from the following day of registration/charge) in the case of ¥3,000 cards.
    • 90 days (calculated from the following day of registration/charge) in the case of ¥5,000 cards.
    • 365 days (calculated from the following day of registration/charge) in the case of ¥10,000 cards.
  • For au mobile phones under a post-paid contract.
    • 365 days (calculated from the following day of registration/charge) regardless of card type.

The re-registration period for prepaid cards is restricted to 90 days after the usage term for registered credits has expired.

The call usage period can be extended up to 365 days by registering additional cards.

  • * When registering additional cards, the available usage amount and the available usage period for the number of additional cards are added.

  • These cards can be used in the au 3G service area in Japan with prepaid phones or standard au mobile phones.

Usage note
  • Failure to enter the correct card number more than once may result in unsuccessful registration.
  • Once the usage term for registered credits has expired, the remaining
  • These cards cannot be refunded, exchanged, redeemed for cash, or reissued.
  • If you use the prepaid service with a standard au phone and suspend/cancel the phone, the prepaid service is also canceled and the remaining credits become void.
How to check remaining credits Dial "1400." Following the guidance, dial "2" (Check remaining credits). Your remaining credits and the expiration date at the time are notified.
