Monthly Discount

When receiving a monthly discount of ¥2,000 over 24 months for purchasing a mobile phone on a 24-month installment plan [1]

• [2] Plan F (IS) Simple is also eligible. The amount of the discount varies depending on whether or not you are subscribed to au Smart Pass (Effective February 19, 2013).
• [3] Double-Teigaku-Super Light, Double-Teigaku-Light, Double-Teigaku, Packet Discount WIN Middle/Super, IS Flat, Plan F (IS) Simple, and Plan E Simple are also eligible.

The month following the month of your purchase is counted as the first month, and the discount is applied for up to 24 months [4] .

• [4] The discount automatically begins from the month following the month in which an application for a new contract or model change (additional phone) is made. The discount will be terminated after it is applied 24 times (36 times for some models) and then the normal rate will be applied.

• * The discount applies to the total amount of monthly basic charges (excluding LTE Plan), domestic calling charges, domestic communication charges, and option charges (excluding the monthly basic charges of Keitai Guarantee Service Plus and Keitai Guarantee Service) after all other discounts are applied. If the total amount eligible for this discount falls below the amount of the discount, the total amount eligible for the discount shall be set as the upper limit of the discount. The discount amount is calculated using the tax-excluded charges on a billing statement.
• * When subscribed to "LTE Flat for Tab/Tab (i)" or "LTE Double-Teigaku for Tab/Tab (i)", the discount will be applied to basic charges (excluding the minimum amount of "LTE Double-Teigaku for Tab/Tab (i)") and LTE NET.
• * If you changed your model (added a phone), temporarily suspended the use of our service, canceled our service, or canceled or changed a designated flat-rate packet communication service (including certain rate plans) to a non-designated service during the discount application period, the discount is deemed to terminate with the use in the month before the application for a change (the month when the application of the plan was terminated) was made.
• * This service may not be available in combination with certain KDDI deals.
• * If you made your purchase in Okinawa, this service is only applicable for smartphones and tablets.
• * Monthly Discount is an ongoing discount service, but the conditions for receiving the discount and the amount of the discount may be subject to change and may vary according to the timing of the purchase. Prior notice will be given if any change is to be applied.
