A5527SA, A5514SA and A5505SA handsets are preset with the "PRL (roaming area information)" of overseas partner carriers at the time of purchase. However, in order to obtain the most current roaming area information before departure, perform the following operations to download from EZweb and update the information into your handset.
Application to EZweb is required to use this function.
Please be sure to configure EZweb's default settings while in Japan.

Step 1: Download PRL

When using A5505SA, press [SUB] and select "Download PRL Data"

For operations from screen and after, the following charges will be billed: information charges (free), and packet charges (free within Japan; however EZweb communication charges will be incurred at overseas locations offering packet communication).

Please perform the operations in Step 2 after PRL is available (after PRL service begins).

Step 2: Update the PRL in in your handset to the latest version
