Notes for Usage |

| * |
GLOBAL PASSPORT CDMA is available to new au subscribers two days after the first day of use in Japan. For customers switching from a handset that is incompatible with GLOBAL PASSPORT CDMA to a model that is compatible, service is available at the time of completion of the switching procedures. |
| * |
Mode setting is required for each country or region. |
| * |
GLOBAL PASSPORT CDMA is not available for CDMA Prepaid phones. |
| * |
When a call is made while overseas, caller ID will not be notified to the receiving handset in principle. |
| * |
As of January 18, 2006, when a call is received while overseas, caller ID is displayed in principle. However, due to local carrier conditions, caller ID notification may not be available or a totally different number may be displayed. Also, even if caller ID notification has been turned off on the caller's handset, the caller ID may be displayed under certain conditions. |
| * |
If the amount of C-mail data exceeds the amount that is allowed by the overseas cellular network, a portion of the C-mail message may not be received, the message may be divided into multiple parts, or the text of the message may be distorted. In addition, due to the state of signal reception or other factors, a C-mail message may not be received during roaming even if it is stored by the sender. |
