Your current phone number can be used abroad by simply inserting your card into a GSM mobile phone.

Be sure to insert your au IC-Card into a GSM mobile phone for overseas use before making / receiving calls.

1 Switch off your au mobile phone and remove the au IC-Card.

2 Make sure that the purchased / rented GSM mobile phone is switched off, and insert the au IC-Card into it according to the provided user manual.

- To abroad

3 When the GSM mobile phone is switched on abroad, it automatically searches and fits itself to the frequency of the destination country / region. You can now use the phone!

* If you have set the phone in Japan in such a way that you need to input PIN, you are required to do so in the destination country / region.
