Proper Use of Your au Phone
Radio Wave Reception
Because au phones use radio waves, it may not be possible to use your au phone, even within the service area, in locations unreachable by radio signals such as tunnels, underground locations, inside buildings, locations where signals are blocked by buildings or mountainous areas. Also the call may be disconnected if you move to a location with poor radio signal reception.
Even in locations with poor radio signal reception, au phones can maintain high-quality communications. On the contrary, in exposed places such as hilltops, highland areas or the upper floors of high-rise buildings where a user would expect to be good communication conditions, it may be difficult to obtain good radio signal reception. Also please understand that there may be instances when your call is disconnected despite remaining in a location where your signal strength indicator displays "Stron" (Level 3 "antenna mark") reception.
Affect Of Radio Wave
Radio waves may adversely affect electrical and electronic equipment. Please observe the following procedures when traveling by air.
Use of mobile phones aboard aircraft is strictly prohibited. Always turn the power off before boarding. If you have set the power timer, first cancel the timer and then turn off power.

Person with pacemakers should maintain a distance of at least 22 cm (30cm in the caseof car phones and portable phones) between the pacemaker and the mobile phone.
Because there are various models of pacemakers, please consult relevant medicalorganizations or the supplier of the equipment to confirm details for the safe use of yourmobile phone. All mobile phone users should always turn off power in crowded places inconsideration of possible pacemaker wears.
