About Plan Changes
Changes in price plans are generally applied from the following month. However, if changes are made on or after the 25th of a month, the changes will take effect two months after the month in which changes are made (no processing fee).

About Basic Monthly Charges
In the case of subscription or cancellation of a service in the middle of any month, the basic monthly charges (basic monthly charges including free calling time for plans that include free calling time) will be calculated based on the number of days of service used in that month.

About Calling Charges
When placing a call to an au subscriber’s line, the caller will be billed based on calling charges determined by the caller’s service provider.
Calling charges for international calls (KDDI, Japan Telecom, NTT Communications, UCOM, Brastel, IPS, Yasuko no Denwa) are not covered by au price plans. Customers will be billed separately based on charges determined by the international calling service provider.
Free calling time in plans that include free calling time is maximum possible calling time. Actual total calling time may vary depending on circumstances of use.
Calling and data communications charges for overseas use of GLOBAL PASSPORT, international calling charges (including au International Call Service charges), Prepaid Service calling charges, Teledome (0180), and Navidial (0570) are not covered by free calling time in plans that include free calling time.
As long as calling charges fall within the free calling time limit, packet data communications charges will be covered by the unused portion of free calling time. However, this does not apply to packet data communications discount service subscribers.
Calling charges for January 2 and January 3 are the same as Saturday, Sunday and holiday daytime rate and night rate charges.
Prices displayed by the Plan-Specific Price Display Service are estimates only and may differ from the charges on your actual bill.
Calls that extend over two or more days are charged based on the rates for the day in which the call is completed.
Daytime Rate Hours: 8:00-19:00. Night Rate Hours: 19:00-23:00. Late Night/Early Morning Rate Hours: 23:00-8:00.
