This discount is offered on the basis of a renewable contract in one-year increments. If the contract is cancelled or suspended, or the "Student Discount" is terminated during the term, a contract cancellation fee of ¥3,000 (¥3,150 including tax) will be charged regardless of the time enrolled in "Student Discount". Also, discounts will be applied to the current month's usage, excluding the month of renewal. Customers enrolling in "Simple Course" will not be charged the contract cancellation fee until the end of November 2008. |

Customers enrolling in "Full Support Course" will not be charged the contract cancellation fee. Customers enrolling in "Simple Course" will not be charged the contract cancellation fee until the end of November 2008. |

This discount does not apply to EZweb transmission charges, data transmission charges (including packet transmission charges), GLOBAL PASSPORT call and data charges for services used outside of Japan, EZ Appli sending charges, international call charges (including au International Call Service charges), 104 directory service charges, Hello Messenger call and data charges, Prepaid Service call charges, and certain other services. |

The free calling portion of plans with free calling time will be changed to half price; however, since calling charges will also be reduced by up to 50%, the maximum free calling time will not change. |

Children of elementary school age or younger, or students of schools other than those specified by KDDI are not eligible for this discount. |

Customers enrolled in "One-year Discounted Subscription" will have their contract periods carried over to "Student Discount". |
|
If the subscriber is no longer a student or terminates the "Student Discount" during the term, the remaining contract period will be carried over to "One-year Discounted Subscription". In addition, the discount will be applied according to years of subscription with au. |

A single subscriber may not enroll in multiple "Student Discount" plans under one title. |

When the end of the "Student Discount" term approaches, we will explain options for renewal on your invoice. Subscribers wishing to continue "Student Discount" upon admission to university, etc., will be requested to complete an application. |

Customers enrolled in Simple Plan cannot enroll in "Student Discount". |
